You may have seen the press release from Tech Data announcing the new partnership StratoZen and Tech Data have formed to provide managed security services for MSPs and MSSPs.  The response from the channel community has been fantastic so I thought I’d take a few moments to describe the partnership in more detail.

Importantly, this is not just a simple partnership announcement.  If you’re an MSP focused on SMBs and/or just getting into cybersecurity services, this will be very valuable for you.  With Tech Data, we’ve created the easiest and fastest way to provide managed security services to your SMB customers. For the first time ever, you can now resell cybersecurity services the same way you resell hardware and software today – on a per-customer basis with no financial investment or formal partnership agreement needed.

In other words, as an MSP, you can now add cybersecurity and compliance revenue to your portfolio immediately without taking on additional risk or waiting until you’ve achieved critical mass.

For launch, we’ve built this program with a special focus on Fortinet partners.  By combining the Tech Data / StratoZen services with the Tech Data / Fortinet Hardware-as-a-Service (HWaaS) program, service providers can offer a powerful, comprehensive cybersecurity package to customers entirely on a monthly recurring OpEx model.
