Today, we’re excited to announce the hire of cybersecurity veteran, Chris Gebhardt, to lead StratoZen’s SOC-as-a-Service (SOCaaS) and SIEM support teams as VP of Operations.  He started in mid-June of this year and has spent the past few weeks transitioning all day-to-day operations and client support under his leadership.

This is a brand new role at StratoZen.  We’ve seen extraordinary growth this year, and we needed to expand our senior leadership team in order to continue our high standard of client-focused operations.  This frees up Karn Griffen, our Co-Founder and CTO, and his team to focus on StratoZen’s strategic vision and building the next generation of our platform.

Chris will be based in the company’s Draper, UT headquarters and report directly to StratoZen’s Founder and CEO, Kevin Prince.  His impressive career includes Security Operations management, information security consulting, red and blue team exercises, and in-depth compliance experience with GDPR, SOC, ISO, NIST, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, & PCI frameworks.  Prior to joining StratoZen, Chris held critical leadership roles as Director, Information Security at The We Company (WeWork), Senior Cybersecurity Principal at ACA Compliance Group, and Associate Director, Infrastructure Engineering at Jet.com/Walmart.com.

For the VP of Operations, we wanted a cybersecurity expert who came with a passion for thrilling clients with world-class support and proven leadership experience in large, fast-paced, organizations – Chris definitely fits that description.  Most importantly, splitting the company’s operations out from strategy and product development is a foundational step toward some significant service announcements coming later this year from StratoZen.
