As MSPs continue working through the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced, it’s important to look to resources and tips that could help businesses get through this temporary new reality. MSPs that can maintain composure and look for new ways to thrive are the ones that are going to be able to brave the pandemic, and in this article, we’re going to go over important tips and strategies, as well as useful resources that MSPs and cybersecurity companies can implement to keep on the track to success.

Encourage and Assist Customers in Transitioning to Remote Work

Many cybersecurity companies are seeing their clients and customers go due to their inability to successfully implement work-from-home strategies. When businesses don’t look into remote work, they’ll simply close-up shop and lose out on profits, which in turn eliminates the necessary budget they need to continue MSP services. In these situations, it’s crucial for MSPs to assist their customers in making the transition to remote work. This will ensure their continued operation, allowing them to continue utilizing the services offered by their MSP.

Communicate with Customers More Frequently

Your customers are going to need more guidance now than ever before. During these trying times, it’s crucial to check in on clients to see how they’re doing and how you can help address any issues. When it comes to your more important clients, reach out to them at least twice a month.

Host Morning, Mid-Day and Afternoon Meetings with Your Team

While you don’t have to host three, hour-long meetings every day, check-in with your team for about 15 minutes or so at least three times a day to see what has been done, what needs to be done, and to address any issues or concerns within your team. You need to communicate with staff on an even more regular basis now that everyone is working from home to make sure that your operation is still running smoothly. Do, however, make sure that you’re still hosting longer meetings as needed.
